Fighting Irish Football Team.
The Irish prove they are the Region's number 1 team last night in a dominating victory over Sidney Lehman Catholic, beating the Cavaliers 48-14. The Ohio High School Athletic Association re-brackets the final four teams in the state tournament. Catholic Central now moves on to the D-VI state semifinals against Newark Catholic. They will play at Upper Arlington Mary Moorehead Memorial Stadium. The last time Catholic Central advanced to the state tournament was 1991.
